Yep! they detect lean/rich and adjust fuel trims accordingly (for example, when you get on the throttle beyond a certain point on a stock tune, the pcm will force the injectors to a slightly rich situation)
ah gotcha, see i had always belived the stock injectors could only go up to 160 hp (in the 3.4's case) worth of fuel so in my mind adding all these mods would lean up the fuel technically speaking, do u see where my mind was at?

they should be good to about 350 or so. Actually probably farther than that, but better safe than sorry, eh?

absolutely I see where you're coming from.... rating on injectors are flow rates, the only reason you need to increase with f/i is because they need fuel more quickly, not necessarily more fuel.
But yeah, all this **** is so hard to put together.
there really is alot to put together when it comes to all this stuff...i just hope i dont completely destroy my car in the process of installing headers once i ever get ahold of a set lol

Without a re-tune you will run like ***. when you get above 1/4 throttle your ecu changes over from closed loop (using sensors), to open loop (using pre-defined maps). So when your engine is running at 1/2 throttle at 3500rpm, with air temp x, and air flow reading y, the ecu knows to run the injectors at 45/100 duty cycle. If the injectors are supplied with more pressure than usual, they will squirt more fuel (they only know to open for a set amount of time) and you will run too rich.
A re-tune will adjust the ecu maps to provide the proper air-fuel ratio at all times.

the fuel psi will stay the same the FPR will bleed off any extra fuel

brings up question. I am running Alcohol with 36# injectors, Not forced induced, I put a Walbro 255 on this spring, and now I am getting a lean code. I rechecked the Pump install and everything good and tight, I did replace the fuel filter, which was, plugged up with junk. It does seem that it falls on its faced after 2000-2500RPM. I am thinking my FPR has bit the bullet, OR there was so much dirt in the Filter, some got to my injectors. I tried blocking my fuel rail return line, which helps, but It still is just lean enough to throw codes.
Comments and Suggestions are welcome.

you got an fquick or something? I want to see your setup
no, its not methanol for forced induction, its the fuel for the tank. Ethanol requires a higher capacity of delivery, but all of a sudden one day, its falling on it face adn it gets worse when its hot outside or sitting in traffic. I mean, it can get so bad, I cant rev over 4k rpms and it sounds like a misfire it starving for fuel so bad. Its the only thing I can think of that can restrict the fuel flow that bad. Everything else is new.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
