I was checking into the codes in my glove box to see what my car had in it from the factory (bought it used privatly ) , and the only codes I could find that were anything close to the ones I've seen you guys talking about are : 1FP87 , & GU5 I have a 94' Auto 3.4 Camaro. GU5 is the RPO (Regular Production Option) for a 3.23 rear axle ratio.

1FP87 is the Manufactuer's Model Code stating the make, vehicle model, series and body type.

I just checked my 2001 Camaro..and while its not a Y87, it is still an RS ; has 3.42 gears, and the code Y3B, which is the Camaro RS code. so...neener neener....i knew my Camaro kicked a**!!
