Re: Do I have too many miles to use seafoam?

I just seafoamed my car lastnight at work and the gas mileage is off the hook now. The miles thing isn't really important either because I celebrated 300,001 miles when i pulled into the driveway lastnight and when I got home and saw how my car sipped gas I was like

Wow your car has 300'001 miles that's insane is it a Camaro did you put in the oil or just the gas tank? But brave move all the same.

I didn't put in inside the oil, I put it in the brake hose...there is a post up on Ls1tech where a guy gave instructions on how to seafoam the car with the brakehose and that shyt worked instantly. All that blue n white smoke came shootin out the back ima repost his insturctions on here and make sure I put his name on it and everything so everybody knows that it's his work and who the author is

Somebody might have already mentioned this, but it might be helpful to put a little magnet on your oil filter to help pull out all the crap thats gonna come off.
probably a 5 lb or so magnet would be fine.

If you were to seafoam the crankcase, I wouldn't suggest running the car more than 5 miles at the MOST. Its kinda like an engine crankcase cleaner, and should be changed out after a few minutes of running. Best thing you can do is put it in with the old oil, let it run for 5 minutes, then change out the oil.

I seafoamed my car that stuff is awesome! I took Mogobs30th advice I had about 50 miles left for a oil change so I put it in the crank for five minutes and changed it, It was still pretty black. I also put it in my brake booster that was fun!:naughty: it was the biggest cloud coming from a car I've ever seen it was fun driving with a gray mass coming form my car it went away after helf a mile but it must have worked!
