I swapped out the 3.8 for a sbc. There is no icu in the car now. I did leave all the wiring for acc and etc. The only thing removed was engine controls/sensors. My key was stuck in the lock cylinder, so I just left it in. Figured It would be stuck since the safety switches in the shifter etc weren't probably reading. All i use the key for is to unlock the wheel and use the power acc. I have the motor on its own igniton switches. The other day the key came out when i was finished. It goes in, but will not turn at all now...and its tight! The cylinder has no free play at all. I just need it to turn to on, lol. Where are all the safety switches that monitors and locks the ignition? Any ideas? Im still messing around with it.
