    Re: heater hoses

I was just going to put on the fittings on and use the heater hose that is already there, they will just be coming off at the 90 degree. The one top fitting already has the reducer in it, so I should juet be able to put the fittings on and put the hose that is on there now on and clamp it on the fitting.

      Re: heater hoses

I just called the dealer cause I'm looking for heater hoses just to see what the price was for the set of hoses because both of my hoses sprung a leak on the SAME DAY. Cost = $194.02!!!!!!!! Is this a joke? Anyways, seems like since these parts are more valuable than gold. Needless to say, I am doing the wonderful modification ssms5411 has so graciously shared and probably going to save 160 bucks to boot. Anyways, thanks, I can't get over how this forum has helped me in the past 5 years!

THIS. I ordered the kit and installed it this morning, it's the real deal and even better than using those GM replacement parts.

I saw those and ordered them about 1 year ago , they do look nice and should work when I decide to take out my heater core and route my lines to the turbo.
