  • overheating again

my car started to over heat again and now i'm about broke. the radiator got replaced last time. it worked well for a month, and then started to act up a little. then i replaced the thermostat. it's been running great for about three weeks now, and then tonight it wouldn't cool down for me at all! anyone think they might know what it is? i'm thinking it's the pump. how much is one?

are your fans coming on? heater in the cabin? Touch all your hoses and see if you can find a cool one.

            air in sys?
            radiator blocked?

              Re: overheating again

If it gets hot all at once and then cools down Your low on coolant and leaking it somewhere.
These cars tend to get air pockets in the system and just get hot and the gauge just jumps up all at once and then goes back down. (My car did anyways)

the fans come on. the mechanic that replaced the radiator said the water pump would need replacing soon. so i got one. i'm going to flush it out then replace the pump and see what happens.
