    Re: well F&%# me....

Sounds like a coil pack or a bad wire to me, not a bad spark plug.

        EXACTLY

if you have the right tools for the job, it is easy

go out and spend the extra $20 for the right tools and you wont have to sit there for 5 useless hours trying to do something

your misfire may not be just solely caused by the spark plug; you could have a singed wire or bad coilpack too

I agree! I did it my first time about a year ago, and it was pretty simple. It wasn't as easy as doing... lets say an Elantra with all the plugs right on top, but it wasn't hard at all.

thats the thing about the v6 3.8's.... they go through coil packs so fast. Those engines are pretty hard to work on, even just changing the plugs out because theres no room, now I don't know about them with mods cuz when I had a v6, it was stock. but those engines are a byatch. thats why i got an ls1. :) good luck

so basically after talking to a whole load of people the general consenise was dont even F with it if you have the stock headers. so i was like "well its a pain in the arse to do plugs or wires with the stock headers and i have headers on order should be here in a day or two. it might be the ignition coil." so after a few burns and some beat up knuckles and one socket which i droped which i dont think ill ever see again lol.....new coil went in fixed the probelm dead on....runs like the champ shes aways been
