My fuel pump is really loud and annoying. I can hear it all the time. Its a high pitch wining sound. The shop told me it is the fuel pump, anyone else have this problem? any easy way to fix it?

Our old '97 Chevy Silverado used to make that noise... Never had a problem though so we never fixed it.

Been discussed before, but I don't know how it was resolved. Some folks swapped out endlessly until they found a quiet one ..
Get a louder exhaust.

My Siverado whines like a b!TcH at start-up and after you turn it off. Not so much on my Camaro (can't say I ever really noticed it).
If your not having a problem... live with it.
