  • 96 firebird radiator

    i am about to change out the radiator to my fbird which has an automatic. are there any trick i need to know before getting in to it. Do the fans come out individualy or together. any help or tips would be appreciated.

    I just drained the radiator , disconnected the hoses, and just unbolted them and laid them against the engine. Then just remove the old and put in the new. Remember you will have to bleed the air out of the coolant about 5 times. Do it once installed, then drive it about 15 mins., bleed it again. Then the next day make sure the reserve is full and go from there. Might have to do it again so just check on it for the first week.
