I hear our power steering boils over pretty easily? How would I know exactly? The reservoir appears clean. Theres a lot of oily grime down near the oil pan, I figured that was normal....

I haven't had any trouble with my PS, I was just thinking about doing some autoX/driving the hell out of it on some backcountry roads
Haven't heard of that myself. Only thing I heard with our PS is if you go extreme left or right and hold it that will pretty much end it. I've had mine replaced, under warranty thank god, because the seals were leaking.

BTW that'll hurt any powersteering pump if you're holding it against the stops and you hear a squeel. It's not immediately damaging but it's something you should keep in mind NOT to do. If I'm maneuvering around my driveway and I have to make tight turn I always go just a little less than as far as I can to prevent this.
