    Re: window motor replacement

    Its not the size, it how you use them. (okay... I'll stop)

    Seriously I'm 6'2" and didn't have any problems, the write-up is great, though I found that I had to re-drill the first hole. With the doors composite, it's pretty easy to drill through. It's always more fun if you have a helper though, especially holding the motor up while you tighten that first bolt.

      @landj

      Everyone knows it takes a long time to get to England in a rowboat! ("It's not the size of the ship, it's the motion of the ocean!")

      I'm 6'2" as well, but my secret weapon will be my friend Jesse who has skinny crackhead-like arms. Hes gonna help me with this :D.

      The material is easy to drill through though? I thought it was metal for some reason, because of that I was a bit worried my cheapo cordless drill may not be tough enough for it.

        Yeah it's just fiberglass, very easy to drill through. Everything should line up in the end so no extra holes in the metal bracket should be needed.

          may be little tougher on the rivets, but if my memory serves, even that wasn't that big of a deal. (we are talking fourth gen aren't we?)

              the rivets come out pretty easy. my arms are long as hell so getting them angled in there was a pain. not to mention i had plenty of cuts from the damn fiberglass.
