yea thats typical of high millage 3.4s, the heads suck in every conceivable way. this is also ANOTHER reason not to spray it right now as well. dude just get that motor 100% 1st

mine used to do that, but since i ran a bottle of fuel system cleaner through it the smokey starts have stopped. starts and runs nice and clean now...dunno how that works, but w/e
and yea, they do pretty much suck...i believe i read somewhere that the intake runner length is like, pretty much non-existant.

yeah, i actually have decided against nitrous for the moment. :(
and btw i had a friend install the headers, he is a friend, but told me he could do it right and he sucked at it. if i could go back, i could have done it myself probably better, but oh well.

2-3in i believe....thats just sad...the 3400 runner is 8in and the heads flow amazing
i do think the aftermarket upper/lower intake manifold thing would be kool, cuz it would give us guys without the technical savy/money to do a full top end swap an extra option for a little more power. if the heads suck, then why not atleast maximize flow into them? It's about making the best with what you have.
