so i did a burn out on a concrete driveway. not even a burn out. i just tried to do one by pushing the gas and letting of the clutch and when i did it sound like something hit the concrete but that noise could've been the rear end hitting the concrete since my car is so low. but anyway..after doing the attempted burn out...i go to drive off on a road and i notice that when i shift to 2nd that the shifter stick is real wobbly. so now when i shift to every gear the stick feels real wobbly. what could it be? did i break something loose? a transmission mount maybe? nothing is hanging. i'm going to jack the car up soon and see if i see anything that could be wrong.

Can you be a tad more specific on "wobbly"? My shifter shakes like crazy in 3rd, but thats normal for my car. The gears locked in solid, it just has a bit of travel there.
Random thread hijack here, but some days my shifts (manual) feels stickier than others? How much is it influenced by fluid temps?

ya, about 20 bucks or so for a poly mount. takes about 20 minutes to pull it and replace (it probably takes longer to put the car up on stands than what it does to pull the mount and cross member)
you need maybe 4 tools to do it, a few metric sockets (cant remember of the top of my head but i think it was a 15mm and a 13mm socket) a extension and a ratchet.
