i dunno if i need to replace the spring, or the whole arm, but my passenger side wiper arm is loosing tension. it doesnt lay tight against the windshield, and when the wipers are on it wipes random little spots up and down the windshield. when i had the new blades installed at advance, the guy said the wiper arm felt really loose like the spring was worn out. new arm? or will a new spring pull it back down?

I'd try the new spring first before you go buying a new arm man.

I had same problem with my ds wiper and I was told that someone on here had changed the spring but when I went to autozone they said they didn't have a spring for it and I needed to buy a whole arm. I'd call dealership and see if they sell just the spring.
