98 Camaro
Alright, so this was the first time I was bringing my car to the track and like an hour drive to get there. On the way there my FP gauge drops to zero then almost goes all the way back up to 40ish to where it normally is. It almost looks like someones flippin a switch on it. Then eventually it will drop to 0. I had to pull over twice and just wait for a little bit as if it were cooling off then it ran fine for awhile.
This is the 3rd week I've been driving this car with a new walbro 255lph pump that I installed.
My car is turbo charged with a vacuum line still connected to the FPR.
I had no troubles while at the track but I did run a really bad time considering i'm turbo'd which I blame on the drivetrain and the fact that it's not completely tuned yet.
Also I had no troubles on the drive to my gf's house, not once. Then the drive home today it happened again after driving for eh 20 minutes.
Anyways, before I buy a new pump and blame it on that does anyone have any clue as to what it really is? maybe the fpr?
I'm not nearly out of gas. Full tank when it happened. I'm pretty damn sure all the electrical connections are intact. It's soooo incredibly inconsistent which is what makes it frustrating.
