When going (in an automatic) from a 3:08 to a 3:42 ,& I know people here have made the change,what can I expect?I have a '98 Camaro.No mods except a Blackwing A/F,& a Rhino muffler W/dual exhausts,Z28 tips. Will it be a SOTP improvement?Now I can't even peep the tires fom a standing start!Will I be able to smoke 'em?Went with the 3:42 from an anemic standard automatic 2:73 in my C5 & the improvement was pretty good.Should this be my next logical mod for mre bottom end acceleration?

3.73's are the best jump...

dont be penny wise, and dollar dumb
but if 4.10s are too much for ya then go with 3.73sK&N air filter, Whisper air lid, magnaflow LT1 cat back, and magnaflow high flow cat, pacesetter headers, silverstars<br /><br />more to come soon<br />but for now im out of moneyComment

i still think the 308 to 342 switch is a good choice. i personally wouldnt have wanted to do 410's, i do too much highway driving. 342's have been a nice balance for me.Comment
