Glad to see it worked out in the end.

honestly check all the grounds/positive electrical connections throughout the car(well at least the main ones)

I had underdrive pulleys on my 3.4L.

I even got lazy and ran a stock alt pulley with a underdrive crank, only issues I had was headlights on, radio on(not a system, just speakers/head unit), and wipers in the rain, but never had overheating or anything.

Once again on a stock alt.

well you just described a situation that was similar to mine, the only times i would have trouble was with all those things on EXCEPT when i had the radiator fan on cuz that thing seems to take lots of power.

anyhow, i don't think checking grounds would help since the water pump is belt driven.

I was saying, I had no cooling issues, and my fan worked fine in FL, with same underdrive setup. I only had an issue with my headlights dimming, car never overheated or even ran hot.

I was just saying maybe your low voltage issues were do to a corroded connector. So the water pump worked fine, were your heating problems only at stops or were then when you moved, that shows if your fan was getting enough voltage to spin since the fan is pretty useless when you are at speed.

I later had huge voltage issues and it was my alternator----> batt cable got corroded, I replaced the tip but it was corroded up the wire. I had issues for months, until I just replaced the cable, then all was fine and dandy.

fan doesn't work on my car so i did the manual fan switch. what im getting at is that now that i have proper amounts of voltage i can just run the fan whenever i want, before it would take up too much electricity and my car would start to heat up.

that only woudl have been at stops.

While driving your car would have been fine unless you have other issues. Also why not fix your fans, its probably just a relay. If I am right there are like 3-4 of the same relay in the fuse box under the hood, just swap them around until you figure which one is bad.

installed new relays AND fuses.. still broke as in it won't come on when the engine heats up, oh and the coolant temp sensors are brand new so that rules those out.

and now i can turn it on whenever i want so why would i wanna fix it?

Somewhere in this thread he says it's mainly at stops...
