What are the gains in doing the swap? Better flow of air, fuel?

        Re: my holden intake build

the holden intake has a better design over stock, better airflow, but the gains are unknown. 97rs4life and I are the only ones to do this in the US. But ill get to see track time differences with this setup.

are you adding any additional support where you cut out of the cowl?

Just don't cut your plastic cowl part where your wheather stripping is, it will leak bad on your engine causing misfires. I learned my lesson the hard way.LOL

it supports the windshield and minimal loads, not to mention the gigantic wipers.

yea i have to block of those vents now in that plastic so no water gets in

it wont be an issue, all i did was cut out some of the metal in the middle, the frame of the cowl is still there
