when I start my car, there is tha hated tapping, but not really tapping its more like a metallic noise. when the engine warms up it goes away for the most part. or when its first started and I run the engine above 1500rpm it goes away but comes back once the rpm's drop below 1500. the oil was replaced yesterday, and Im running 10W-40. Im thinking I got piston/cylinder damage or wear but I dont even know how to begin troubleshooting that. any suggestions??
