I am looking for a set of 96 3.8 heater hoses. Chevy does not make them and I can't find a parts store that even has them in there computer. Even E-bay does not have them. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Pat.

If your talking about the funky crimped metal-rubber masterpiece that some fluids engineer at GM thunk up, I think most people just cut off the factory crimps and put on molded hose rather than replace the unit as a whole. They autoparts stores sell them in pieces. At least they do for my 95 last I checked. -

Are you talking about the hoses that come off the belt tensioner assembly and go to the heater core? If so GM makes them and I picked up the hose myself a few years back for less than a hundred from gmpartsdirect.com
good luck, I didn't have tools to get bolt out that hose mounted to car between the motor and the wheel well and had to have dealer do it.Originally posted by kala
