Hey Guys I have a little prob. My car overheated and since has been leaking water from the block. I thought my block would be cracked but a guy told me that only really happens in the winter. There is no water in my oil and no white steam out of the tail pipes so we think the headgasket is intact. A guy told me more then likley a freeze plug popped out. Would that cause my car to drip water out of the block and cause air to get into my cooling system. If so where are they, how many are there, and how do I check them?

Re: Freeze plug symptoms
On my 3.8 block I had a total of four larger freeze plugs on bottom, two on each side, they were maybe 2.5 inch wide circles and then there were two little, about .5 inch wide freeze plugs on back next to firewall, these two were hard to find at first.Originally posted by kalaI'll have buttsecks with Richard Simmons!
