You do realize they are under-driving the water pump right? It's not a normal under-driven crank pulley. All it does is make the water-pump turn less with every rotation of the crank. NOT always a good thing, particularly in warmer climates, or with raised compression, or with a power adder. Heat is a big cause of detonation, so I would be very careful when planning or considering this mod. Have you seen the electric water pumps yet? A better choice as it frees up a bit more power even, and actually cools the same or better! $279 from Texas Speed.

Don't put any of the 3.8l pulley's on your car lol. HELL NO. They don't really do anything thats worth the side-effects. If you want to do something in that area get a electric water pump like matt said. Also the good thing with the pump is if you have a manual fan switch you can wire the pump and fans to run even after you shut the car off. Can you say good track cooldown? I can.

Check out TSP Given da lower prices lol. Matt = scandelous ;)

I've got the pulley. It weighs about 1/8th of the stock pulley and it's slightly larger, so it's got to do something. I also have a drilled 180* thermo, and in the hottest day of the summer in Baltimore traffic, the temp never went above 195. And the fans have NEVER come on. Looks pretty too. Dont knock it till you try it. ;)
