Why not just take a whole set?

Don't get me wrong, its not that I don't care... I just don't know, probably like the most rest of us. I would guess that it's a metric 10, 13, 15, or 17 mm, which is what I have found most bolts to be on the engine. A set of extensions and a universal joint as well as some closed end wrenches would also be a good thing to bring along. Having not taken off the starter on this car, those would be my best guesses. As far as thread sizes and length, I would have no clue. To be safe, and rather than tell him something completely wrong, I chose not to say anything, but I'm still interested in the thread and his situation. Hence I thought I was doing him a favor to not say anything rather than sound like I know what I'm talking about, hence the "no problem."

If nobody is posting, it's not because they don't want to help or aren't interested, its just that they don't know and don't want to guess (which some people do without stating that it's a guess get people all screwed up).
