I'm suprised that nobody seems to know. I like to know what I'm talking about BEFORE I go to an auto parts store, but... I'll ask someone elseCardomain> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/7camaro7\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/7camaro7</a> <br />CarSponsorships.com> <a href=\"http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/sponsor.php?id=2358\">\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/sponsor.php?id=2358\"></a> <br />Webmaster\'s Earn Money Here> <a href=\"http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/index.php?ref=2358\">\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/index.php?ref=2358\"></a>

i dont remember the model number on mine, but any old autoparts store will be able to find the one that fits your car. just make sure it has the side terminals. autozone has duralast batteries that have always treated me fine.

It's a group 78 battery I think, and yes, it has side terminals. Be sure to clean the cable ends with a wire brush really well.
I bought my battery based on a) price b) free replacement warranty period, and c) availability of retailers to get warranty service.
In other words, the $58 "premium" battery at WalMart. The major parts stores are competitive, though. WM honored a warranty claim when I [accidentally] pierced the casing with an overly long terminal extender-- no questions asked.
Although those gel-cell Optima's are neat, you'd have to try pretty damn hard to convince me they're worth twice the money or so.\'00 f-bird 3.8 M5 coupe, pewter metallic<br />Torsen LSD, Pro 5.0 shifter, Spec stage 1 clutch, Y87 muffler, aftermarket stereo<br />-more fun than the Oldsmobile it replaced...

I bought an Optima, it has many advantages over other brands: http://www.dcbattery.com/optima2.html
I hear this winter will be brutal for the Camaro according to some sources.Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles! I have an optima...
only reason why I got an optima is I put a little more strain on the battery then most, since I run no belt(no alternator) at the dragstrip.
normally I'd get a "midrange one" that has like a 3 year warranty and it will generally get fried before the warranty is up in FL, since heat kills most batteries here. At first warranty claim I usually upgrade to the top of the line one for a cost of like $15 more, and get like a 5 year warranty. Then I am set for the life of the car.
but not sure what people experience in "cold weather"
we only see 30* like maybe 6 times ever in the winter, if its a colder winter.-Eric<br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/mustangeater82\" target=\"_blank\">2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed</a> T-top <i>converted</i><br /><b>14.467@95.45mph</b> <i>$0 in mods</i><br /><i>The member formerly known as MustangEater8251</i>
