  • new car. mods?

i'm a rather new member to this site (maybe a week) and i'm almost 16 and just bought my first car yesterday, a black '96 firebird. it's only got 58k miles on it and it's in perfect condition. i'm in love with it. the only mods the previous owner did to it was an alarm and exhaust. i have about $700 left after buying this and i'm working on getting a part-time job making around 125-175 every two weeks or something. for my money and my income, what are the best ways to modify the car? first thing i want to do is make it fast, then work on appearance. any advice is appreciated. thanks.

start out with free mods. then after that do some induction work. if the car already has headers on it then i would do a cam after the induction, if not do headers and maybe gears.that is the advice i have gotten from the guys here.
