If it has a place for a bolt, most likely it had one at one time. Also, something rattling around would irritate me. Where to get one idk? Take it to a dealer have them look it up and go from there man ........... idkComment

Is there another bolt on that bracket that looks like it would fit? (I've got a 3.4, so that's why I'm asking...) If so, take it off and try it. If it's the right size, then you have a bolt to take into the auto parts store, hardware store, or Wal-Mart to match thread size and diameter. My guess would be a metric thread size for starters (but who knows, maybe it's SAE or a course-threaded standard). It doesn't look like a high stress bolt, so any low grade bolt should do just fine. Don't forget the anti-seize with your new bolt!
If you don't know how to match thread sizes, my guess is the fellas at a good autoparts store would know and be happy to help you. As long as you don't get a guy like the store I went to... I asked a question he said "I don't know man, I haven't driven a car since I lost my license 15 years ago."Comment

Oh... and if you just get a rough estimate of the diameter of the major diameter of the hole (that's including the thread grooves) and the bolt lenth, you might be able to buy a couple of bolts from the hardware store (ACE? Truevalue?) and return the one that's not right (for your whole quarter or whatever the bolt costs nowdays. My guess (again, only a guess) would be that it's a course thread metric. You should be able to narrow it down to 4 or 6, and if your good with your guess, you'll have it on the first try.Comment
