  • Oil Pressure and Electrical Problems!!!

I am getting codes 1361 and 1362. DTC P1361 Ignition Coil Control Circuit Low Voltage
DTC P1362 IC Cylinder 2 Not Toggling After Enable. I have also been told that they could be secondary ignition coil problems?

and with the oil pressure, I will drive it for a little bit and then my oil pressure will drop to almost nothing. I can't think of anything on all 3 of my problems. I need your guys help to get my car running smooth since i just moved to college and need something reliable to drive. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Oil Pressure and Electrical Problems!!!

oil pump may be the cause of the oil pressure drop. get your ignition module checked to see if it will help the other codes. Also, your car may go into limp mode, which would cause your oil pressure to drop if all things are not in good running shape to prevent further damage

For oil pressure, you need to hook up a mechanical gauge to read what the pressure really is. The problem is usually going to be with the sending unit or its circuit, not the pump itself.

Where would I be able to find a guage that would read it? I just ordered a new ICM today so hopefully that will help the problem. Thanks for your help!
