need help with engine

hey everyone i have a 97 firebird but recently throw all my raidiader coolant. so i put water in the raidiader but reliazed that its throwing it all from (what it seems to me) under the intake. dont know how to fix this or how to start. im thinking i have to take the engine out in order to fix it. can any one please help me.

you dont have to take the engine out dude. but do you mean its coming from the intake? or below it? could be the lower intake gasket. dont sweat it though, even if you cracked a head or blew a head gasket or soemthing (unlikely), you dont have to drop the engine.

You sure it's not leaking from the throttle body cooling hose or connection? Look for a couple of rubber hoses going under the throttle body. You can just replace these if one of them is leaking. A lot of people bypass them in search for that extra 1/100'th of a horsepower gain, so the hoses might be replaced with leaking caps or something.

My guess too. I just had to replace mine.

oh ok. how much is that part? and can u guys tell me how to replace it.

parts like 5-10 bucks. take off the tensioner and the elbow will slide out. make sure you get all the pieces of the elbow out and replace it. its pretty easy.
