I wasn't sure if this post would fit in the body and appearance section so I put it here. I live in Virginia which has a law requiring both a rear and front mounted license plate. I am planning on getting a turbo soon which means the intercooler will have to get cooler air from the front of the car where the license plate bracket is. Is there a better place to put the license plate on the front and still look good?

Re: License Plate Placement
Here in Illinois its the same law, although in the windshield corner is legal temporarily.
I just took mine off and said screw it until I they say something about it. I'll just tell them it fell off and waiting for some parts.
But even so, I've seen Vettes, Camaros and other cars that don't even have a place to put a front plate. Not sure why, but I've seen them. I dunno maybe if the car is built in a state where it don't require it, that they don't put a mount on for it or what. Most states require both plates don't they?
Not sure how strict Virginia is on that law, but apparently Illinois isn't cause I've had it like that for about 2 years and see others without it all the time.
Been pulled over plenty of times without it to and they don't say anything.
3 days after I bought the car, got pulled over and the guy thought I stole the car cause the plates where still registered for the other car.

Re: License Plate Placement
Drill a bunch of holes in it, and then mount the intercooler behind it :) Air-Flow+Legal (unless it's illegal to alter one like that, IDK)~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
