        Re: overheating

15 mins isn't that long, especially when it's warm outside. Plus, the temp guage isn't all that accurate.

your engine gets hotter before it cools down. this is because the coolant stops moving at all and the engine metal temp and the engine coolant temp have to = before it can cool down every engine does this period. nothing to be worried about. if you had checked it 5 minutes later it would have read hotter than when you shut it off

well despite its name coolant will actually make your engine run hotter than plain water because coolant is less efficient at transferring heat but it will keep the inside from rusting and the water pump lubricated.
there seems to be a language barrier sorry, what language is your first
and have you taken care of all the leaks

Are you sure you're not leaking antifreeze? I had a problem similar to overheating and it turned out to be those plastic elbows by the tensioner pulley.

                  Re: overheating

i replaced the plastic elbows when i dropped the new engine, but i cant find any leaks anywhere idk whats going on with my car i have a new water pump new tempature sensor, the car temp goes up to 230 the fans kick but i think that a little to high and i can hear the freaking water boiling.

                    Re: overheating

replace your radiator cap. they get weak as the miles go on and will then hold less pressure let me guess it only over heats sitting in traffic or sitting still if thats not the case try spraying water backwards threw the radiator as hard as possible to clean any sand/dirt or debris out of the cooling fins thats a big problem in desert areas that will cause overheating and poor a/c operation.
when exactly does it overheat crusing, sitting, freeway, all the time?
less pressure in the cooling system lowers the boiling point and will cause overheating in 2 ways
1.)a worn out cap will let to much coolant out as the system tries to build pressure resulting in inadequte coolant in the system thus nothing to take the heat away.
2.) when there is not enough pressure in the system the coolant will acctually boil inside the engine, not just in the radiator which can make your intakes leak, crack cylinder walls and much more.
was the engine you put in new or used?

                      Re: overheating

Did you think of checking your head gasket? Could be air being pushed into the cooling system through the cylinder. Thus the bubbling not necessarily "boiling".
