i was wonderin which oil should i run with. i use mobil 1 but iwas thinkin about flushin the engine out and goin with royal purple. if i do does anyone know how many miles i can do the royal purple be4 i need to change it?

bad news- the 96 bird is gone<br />good news- a 95 trans am replaced it:lt4 cam and heads,msd,hooker headers,3inch flowmaster,cold air induction,and some laughin gas! -
Either is good.
You can do about 6000 miles between oil changes with synthetic oil although you'll find lots of people saying you should still do it earlier.
I use Royal Purple synthetic myself. Been using it for years and it's been fine. I change the oil every 6000 miles and everything is the way it should be.
Either brand is good though. I've never heard anyone complain about Mobile1. Just pick one and stick with it. -

yea i seen that episode to, I thought it was more like 9 hp, but anyways, they did gain some HP switching everything to royal purple on a V8Comment
