i havent tried the ase chip personally but the jet stage 2 sucks. logged with scan tool, it sucks. i imagine the ase does not do much more than the jet. i may be wrong, like i said i have no personal experience with the ase chip, but all these things do is make VERY MINOR alterations to air:fuel mixture and ignition timing. spend the money on something more worthwhile.

I haven't heard anything really bad about the ASE chip as far as performance, and lots of bad rumors about the JET chip - enough that the volume of rumors probably means something.

This is all very curious since the only thing I have more than a friend is my Jet Chip Stage II and my car is a little faster on the top end, mainly just in 3rd gear. Actually my worst run last time at the track was better than his best ever. I'll have to yank the chip next time at the track and see if I can actually be consistant enough to compare runs.
I would dyno but there's not one around here. I thought it was dynoed to give like 11hp though, what was up with that?
