That sucks.

I had a chick turn across the highway in front of me in a 2000 cougar (me in the 88 camaro). It destroyed both cars. I had my seat belt on, but I still had a broken leg and worse, and large part of my forehead removed. It was put back on and there is just a fading scar now, but damn!

After that I swore I would never drive a car without airbags, and that's why I bought my 95 camaro next.

Airbags are awesome. Trust me, it would have been much worse without them.

You'll enjoy your huge settlement, I know I did.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I am looking at a 2000 Z28 or a 99 trans. Its strange because they are both around $6 or 7 thousand dollars. Im not sure if something is wrong with them.

Yeah I think I am going to go back to the hospital today because my back is absolutely killing me.

I also talked to my lawyer and from what he is telling me I can get a lot of money out of this. Im not trying to be greedy I just need all of the money back that I have lost.

Yeah basically she lied and made me out to be the biggest ******* in the world. Like a bunch of stuff like cutting her off and such which is untrue. I got hit with wreckless driving which I plan to argue in court.

                    Wow, man.

I am in the middle of of the road on how I feel about the saftey of F-bodies.

Your case makes me happy(that you werent severly injured); Because before I was 1 and 1. My friend fliped his f-body at like 75(T-tops) and just had a scar on his ear. However the other one, came in on 2 pieces, front and back. It was a direct side door hit, and the doors just disintegrated.

One last question, where exactly is the airbag comming out of the steeting wheel? just the top...? I don't get it.

PS: I know a girl who would do something like that, and drives a new black civic. And she does coke. =(

Nah the whole middle of the steering wheel is the airbag it just came right out. Yeah this girl is pretty... um nuts.

Just need a new fbody now :(

A few of my friends hit a rail going 105 the other day (their own fault) in a 2000 camaro. If you can imagine this, they flipped enough times to wonder when it was going to stop flipping... that's a lot.

Also, the passenger doors is completely gone, but the framework is still there... Two of the rims are completely snapped off. They were 5 spoke rims, each spoke still had about 3 inches of it attached to the wheel and tire., but the center of the rim (most of each spoke) was still attached to the axle, which was detached from the rim and tire.

The heaviest injury was a slightly cracked rib, minor whiplash, and a mild concussion. Sounds like they had a football injury, not a potentially fatal wreck.

I got a friend who "had" a 98 Formula who got cut off by someone driving slower than he was going causing him to lose control of the car. The car flipped multiple times nose over tail until it went off the highway and brought up in a patch of bog. The hood was picked up like 100' down the road. Luckily enough both the driver and the passenger walked out of it without a scratch so GM must be doing something right when designing F-Bodies. Unfortunate for my friend, the driver, the guy in the passenger seat decided to fake injuries and sued him with back injuries basically so he could get some money out of it... money which was used to buy a crotch rocket  Just goes to show how low some people will stoop to get something.
