  • Is there a drain plug on a 3.4 for coolant?

    I'm going to change my coolant tommorrow and I need to know where this block drain plug is. Thanks.

      Are you sure thats not the radiator drain plug? Because I need to know where the engine block drain plug is.

        There isn't an actualy engine block drain plug. There are plenty of cooling passages that you could use, but not an actual drain plug. Most of the mentioned passages are on the top of the engine or the water pump on the front of the engine.

          Well, I already changed my coolant (you read that thread ;) ), but for future reference (and for people that do a search), where are these cooling passages located exactly?

              In the 3.8 it's the knock sensor... not too sure about the 3.4 though.
