  • Stripped Gear?

Not in a headlight, but in my driver's side window of my 97 Camaro. It sounds like the gear's stripped; the window will go down about 1/4" and then you just hear this grinding like sound. Anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to just buy a gear, or is a new motor needed? I'm a big fan of windows down driving, so this is really hurting me :(

    Re: Stripped Gear?

i doubt its stripped. the gear on the motor is solid. even if that were the case you cant buy just the gear.
