  • help with O2 Sensor

OK, my check engine light came on so I took me car by advance and had them scan it and it pulled the code P0133 wich I was told on another forum is the O2 sensor in the drivers side manifold. Well I replaced it tonight and my check engine light is still on. So, my question is did I replace the right one, if so, do I need to reset my computer and if so how? Thanks

Reset the computer... do it by leaving the battery unplugged overnight.

That, or just have the auto store clear it with their code reader.

If you infact replaced the correct sensor and that is the problem then the light will turn off in a few days by itself. Either of the two ways listed above will also clear the code

ok, I had exactly same error last week after bump on the highway. on the turn to the nearest shop check engine light gone. I still scanned it - P0133. had that erased and nothing. havent replaced the sensor because sensor is not always the fault. Do you guys know what could be causing that problem?
