Wow, I didn't know they were that much, on 93-97 they can be found for cheap. I would look for guys parting out their car. I think I paid $40 shipped when I got a used headlight assembly(with headlights) for my 96' Camaro.

I don't know about 98+ , but mine was all the coverings for the headlights and it was mostly plastic. That one looks like it is metal and has mounting for the headlights.

Is the hood latch on area part of the headlight assem? or is it attached to the radiator support?
its a center support 98-02 camaro it holds up the bumper, on the 93-97 its known as the headlight support bracket.
its about $60. its a fiberglass piece, I got it from gmpartsdirect.com and thats about 60 shipped.
the latch is sep. from the bumper support and the headlights brackets. so is it the latch you want replaced? or the center support, because from what Im getting, you were wondering about the bumper support, not the foam with the impact bar... go to gmpartsdirect, do a search, and you'll see it.

Archer
Yes! thats for clearing that up archer. Im looking for the center support because its a little damaged you can see from the pics. i can reuse the latch with the new one right? this is way my bumper sags a little and doesn't line up to the hood.
the center support is fiberglass and does hold the bumper up, the latch is on a V frame which is steel... you shouldnt have to remove it unless its damaged or the latch is damaged.
its about $48.00 through gmpartsdirect.com to ship to me here in ohio its a total of $61.77.
but the support, you'll have to order the bump stops for the hood, which are on that screen aswell with the whole front end microfisch.
