its hard to describe but around 40ish to 30ish on a deaccel the car acts like its having some trouble kinda jerky maybe heasitatng under throttle its fine unless its like low throttle 25ish % could it be an alignment issue? or maybe tire pressure.. i havent checked either.. when i brake the wheel jerks really bad.. i know for a fact i am missing a front drivers side wheel weight but it has been gone for quite some time now and it just started doing this.. and i haven't modded anything prior to or since it has been doing this. i think itw weird that it does it under light and no throttle =\

Re: wtf.. car acting weird..
its been about 2 years since my ast alignment i think i will take it for one and have them check all of the bushings and stuff out and see where that gets me.2001 Camaro 3.8 A4

Re: wtf.. car acting weird..
When you talk about jerky and hesitating, are you meaning that it seems suspension related? It may be ignition related. From your initial post, it reads more like an ignition problem. Not that there aren't other issues, such as when braking..... But if you are just applying throttle or letting off the gas and coasting when it does this, it's probably not suspension related.2002 Silver Firebird A4
T-Tops, Leather, Y87, W68, Chrome Wheels
Bone Stock

Re: wtf.. car acting weird..
honestly it doesn't seem suspension but i wanted to make myself think it was haha my first thought was plugs maybe but i figured it it was ignition then it would do it under a load too not during deaccel and it doesn't 100% normal under a load no codes have been thrown either =\ car has 89800 miles on it msd wires (about 2 years old) plugs are same age they are silverstone (nology) and msd coil packs about a year old2001 Camaro 3.8 A4

Re: wtf.. car acting weird..
Have you ruled out the EGR valve? Hesitation and jerky deceleration (and stalling and sputtering) are symptoms of a malfunctioning EGR system. If the valve sticks open when the engine is near idle, you will have those problems. It may not necessarily set a code. There's another post on here where I suggested doing a blockoff plate to see if that fixes the issue. That's the only way to I can think of to test it w/o dealer equipment.2002 Silver Firebird A4
T-Tops, Leather, Y87, W68, Chrome Wheels
Bone Stock

Re: wtf.. car acting weird..
It probably wouldn't hurt to clean the MAF. Maybe put an ohmeter across the TPS and see if there's any bad spots. Just wondering if the EGR block off is messing with the computer calibrations at all. I hear in the '97+ computers, EGR can be tuned out. Don't know if it's true or not, being that I have a '96.

Re: wtf.. car acting weird..
Yeah I would next try the ohmmeter on the TPS, or get a scan tool and check the MAF and TPS readings (and any other sensor readings you can view) for odd numbers or intermittents.2002 Silver Firebird A4
T-Tops, Leather, Y87, W68, Chrome Wheels
Bone Stock
