Better to up octain and increase timing.
If you drive your car hard don't expect miracles from even 89. The owners manual wasn't written for a race car driver. If you want to put the pedal to the metal often, USE 93!!!!
Performance driving requires performance octain to prevent pre-ignition.. that's just the nature of the beast.
87 burns faster but you'll knock more... 93 with 0 knock and more timing will make you more power. [img]smile.gif[/img]
