  • Engine dies when clutch is pressed in when slowing down.

As the title states. I have a good running 3.4 camaro engine in my jeep cherokee. When I am coming to a stop and I clutch the jeep to go into neutral, the engine rpm's dip down and the engine dies. It will start right back up but its a real pain. I don't have a few things wired that could play a roll in this but I thought I would run it by you guys to see what you though. I do not have the brake switch wired (I thought this was only necessary for an automatic). I do not have a vehicle speed sensor wired because I do not have an adaptor to make it work. Do you guys have any ideas what would cause this? Also this only happens once the engine is up to operating temp...it does not happen when the engine is cold. When the engine is at operating temp it idles at a steady 700 rpm. Please help me out guys. Thanks.
