I gotta problem with my power windows. It seems to be off track a little to the point were it stalls when I put my window up. I literally have to pull my window by hand to get it to finish.
Any one know off the top of the head what the dealer might charge to fix this problem
It sounds like your motor is bad, as long as it isn't crooked or uneven then it is not off track. Here is a link to a how to Window motor
You can pick up a motor for around 80. For my 99 bird it is $82. @ GM Parts Direct
I don't know how much a dealer would charge, but I wouldn't take it there for that, in my experiance they would keep the car for a week, scractch my door, and put the wrong motor in, then charge me like 400 dollars. But I don't like dealerships. My uncle and I replaced mine at his body shop and it was done in about an hour.

Had the same problem and actually just got done fixing it about an hour ago!
Didnt see what years yours was but in my 99 it was a bad motor. Often it would stall half way up ect. Cost about 100 in parts to fix but i did it myself in a couple hours.
Good Luck!
don't buy one from gm, go to autozone, they're 50 bucks and come with a lifetime warranty. mine did the same thing yours did, most people have this problem some time or another, just go to that webpage posted earlier, gives perfect instructions. 50 bucks and 2 hours later she'll be back to new

My passenger one is off the track by the mirror so I think I will try to fix that in the spring.
