hi. my friend has a 91 camaro rs with the 305 v8 engine. I dun know much about engines but I did some googling and its rated at 170hp @ 4000rpm and 255 torque @ 2400.

ok so statistically it seems i could keep up with him, well to me lol.

I know this is a hard to answer question but how much modding would pass him up?

I don't have much on my car at all just flowmasters cat back system, no cat, cold air kit, I do have some pacesetters headers but they are not installed.

I have raced him today and I was behind about two cars ish.
usually i don't care if he beats me i love my car no matter what.
but boy does he talk trash. hes so obsessed with his v8 lol.
makes me wanna slash his tires...

but this is just outta curiosity could somebody clear it up some for me?

Headers and some custom tuning would reverse the out come. as long as he didn't change anything.

nah his camaro is stock as well.

im going to rule out nitrous i did some reading on it and even though the outcome is great there is too many things that can go wrong. i need my camaro for daily driving so yeah can't take that nitrous risk.

the only people that have problems with nitrous are those that botched the install, or cut corners.

nitrous is very safe if you are not stupid with it.

i'd stay away from ebay kits, if your serious about nitrous, talk to trav. he will hook you up.
