Is this the right way the boots should fit in the sparks, or the sparks should be inserted all way through the metal terminal of the boot.

Re: Universals MSD
The sparks are already installed, the car is working great but I have my doubts if I did it right. I tried to do it the way you say but the boot terminal is too narrow. It may need plyers to make it wider.Camaro99\'3.8, original spoil package (no body mods...PROUDLY), K&N, Lid 3800II, SLP CAI, Flowmaster, Z28Chrome Tips, 180* Thermostat.

Re: Universals MSD
Those are completely the wrong boots...
when he said "coil side" he was referring to the coilpack. and those are even wrong for our coils.
Which universal kit did you get? did it come with an assortment of boots, or did you get a universal length kit with one kind of boots?

Re: Universals MSD
I have took my time to search the right MSD ones. Some guys say something, others say a different thing. I am sorry cause those red wires look nice in my red car, but probably I will get rid of the MSD trouble, and try Bosch ones (direct fit).Camaro99\'3.8, original spoil package (no body mods...PROUDLY), K&N, Lid 3800II, SLP CAI, Flowmaster, Z28Chrome Tips, 180* Thermostat.

Re: Universals MSD
There are MSD ones that are made for our cars.
www.gvperformance.com have them
99+ set comes as a straight boot, the 95-98 sets come with 90* boots. So specify when you order what style you want
