  • Anything else worth changing/addressing ?

I am in the process of doing the plenum/lim gaskets and am going to go ahead and replace the following:

    -oil gear drive seal
    -thermostat and gasket
    -injector o-rings
    -plugs/wires

Anything else I should change while I have all the the upper part of the motor off ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ernie

egr gaskets, turn the plenum upside down take out that square bolt and clean out the EGR passage with a coat hanger as it is likely caked with carbon and will throw an EGR code if not already.

valve cover gaskets (if they're leaking at all)

throttle body gasket? ( you dont' have to if you take it off with the plenum )

i would say maybe o2 sensors or coolant temp sensors ( these are all much easier to replace when the top end is off our cars, especially the CTS that is located in the LIM below the throttle body)

Not really doing any performance mods, so not messing with the cam.

I will be changing the valve cover gaskets as whoever installed the last set pinched one of the gaskets and it leaks quite a bit. Definetely doing the throttle body gasket and will look into the CTS and PCV.

          Thanks,
          Ernie
