didn't find much in search...
how hard is it to replace my fuel injectors myself? the engine idles rough, and accelerates roughly (and seems to be getting worse)
now i'm getting flashing SES lights, it used to just flash and stay on but now it keeps flashing
or am i better off taking it to pep boys or someplace like that?
This is a different John D. :D . Notice I don't have the underline in my screen name. I would agree with the copycat John_D. ;) Get the codes pulled, that will tell you for sure what is going on. My guess would be more of an ignition problem though, probably misfires or coil packs going out.
Definately get your car diagnosed before you tear into it. Sounds to me like a misfire code. Which is a P0300 code on the diagnosis. If that's the case, check the plug wires, plugs, coil pack, etc... Injectors aren't that hard to change yourself, but you better have a whole day to do it and A LOT of beer. ;)

LoL, on the proper scan tool it will tell u which cylender is misfiring without just a dumb code =) and it doesnt take that long to change plugs and wires u just have to not be afraid of it.
Get the car scanned to see whats wrong with it.
Everyone here is telling you to get the car scanned, believe them! You can spend TONZ of moola trying to diagnose the entity yourself!

Yea, I tried to diagnose my own once and ended up spending abnout 300 more than I should have. I thought I needed a tune up, got that...still had a misfiring problem. Then I replaced those plugs with better ones.....still a problem. The I got really genius and had a place clean my injectors and tranny...still a problem (get the hint). Ended up being a MAF and one of the O2 sensors, biyatch to have one go out but and even bigger one when you spend more grip going around the issue, go with the advice they are shootin' man

yea guys, guess i should have specified, it was scanned a little while ago, was a misfire, and i had my mechanic look at it and he said he's gonna have to look at the fuel injectors, that might be the problem
just wondering how hard it would be to do them myself

They're not real hard to do. Just hard to reach some of the parts.
Here's a thought for you. Typically a misfire is not fuel related, but is usually ignition. I know the plugs and wires are such a "pita" to get to, but you should probably eliminate them as the problem first. Otherwise you are likely to do injectors, and then still have to do plugs and wires anyway... Might try to see if you can get your guy to do some diagnostic work on the coils and wires before tearing into the fuel injectors.
