Removing lever on the back of the passenger seat?

I'm putting new seat covers on and they're kinda tight - anyway, I'm stuck on the backside of the seat by the lever that makes the seat fold up/slide forward. Anyone know how to remove it? I can't find anything obvious.

No idea; just cut a slit in it and poke the lever through. How often do you use it anyways? What I want to know is, where'd you get a seat cover for the rear seat? I've been looking for one that doesn't cost $100+!
