Broken Hose... What is it?

So over the summer my car overheated some. Water was put into cooling reservoir instead of antifreeze. Well, as you can guess what i'm about to say, tonight it got to below freezing. On my way home from work I got a check engine light, then soon after steam pouring from the engine.

After looking at it, this hose has an inch slit in it: (sorry for the bad quality, this isn't my car i just had to find a picture of it.)

Can someone tell me what hose this is so i can get it replaced ASAP. I had to leave my car in some random apartment complex :eek:

Not sure, but it LOOKS like one of your heater hoses that runs to the heater core. Can you get a better, closer picture?

Not a good habit to get into, but I don't think this has to do with your issue right now. My suggestion though is to flush & change it ASAP because of the upcoming winter!
