My fuel pump died however the sender is still working. Right now I have it running on an inline pump which is eternally annoying because of the loud humm it makes. I went the local bone yard and they had several 3.8s but none were a 99 on up mines an 01 with the larger tank. My question is can i just use the pump from one of the 97 on down cars and keep the sender body or is the whole assembly different becasue of the small tank.
