  • High oil pressure?

Car idles with an oil pressure of 60 psi. If I give it any throttle, it instantly shoots up to 120 psi and stays there. Any idea what could be causing this, and could it affect my performance?

when was the last time u changed the filter? they can clog and cause high pressure. and have u used your pa's oil pressure gauge to eliminate a faulty sending unit and or gauge? and if all that fails the thing justin dropped in the pan could have made its way to the relief valve and clogged it. as far as performance, well lets just say buh buy turbo seals specially since u didnt reinstall that restrictor, many other seals will fail also.
