  • HPP3 comming, any advice?

    Got the Hypertech programmer comming in. Nice deal at thunderracing.com for 299. Any advice for me with this thing of what to do/not to do? Thanks

    go to dyno and see what the best combo of tuning is, and then come back and tell everybody.

      87 and 93 octane programs are different, they run well though, I have had no problems with any of the settings.

      Don't raise rev limits unless you know it will be beneficial.

      Run a 160 Stat.

          yeah one thing to keep in mind dont let the battery die while you are programming a friend of mine did this and it erased every thing on his computer and he had to tow it to the dealer so they could reflash his computer so he could drive it.

            Running the 87 program now. Seemed to have a little more power to it. Will try 93 setting later once I use up this tank. Thanks for the advice on the batter, didn't realize it would take at least 15-20 mins to program the car!
